The Aristocats is a 1970 American animated musical romantic comedy film produced by Walt Disney Productions.
The film revolves around an aristocratic cat family, an alley cat, and their journey home after a kidnapping by their butler.

The Aristocats was originally released in theatres on December 24, 1970. It had re-releases theatrically in 1980 and 1987.
It was first released on VHS in Europe on January 1, 1990 followed by a UK release in 1995 and a North American release on April 24, 1996. The first DVD release was April 4, 2000. The first Blu-ray release was on August 21, 2012.
