The Big Comfy Couch is a Canadian children's live-action TV show about a clown named Loonette and her doll Molly who solve everyday problems on their oversized couch. Episode production took place from 1992-1996, 2002, and 2006. It was produced by Cheryl Wagner and Robert Mills and directed by Wayne Moss, Robert Mills and Steve Wright. It made its first ever television debut on March 2, 1992 on YTV in Canada and aired on there until 2000 when it was permanently moved to Treehouse TV, it's 24/7 preschool sister channel where it would air until 2012 and then make a short comeback in 2014. It premiered in the United States on January 9, 1995 on PBS stations across the country with some stations keeping the show until 2009.
