The Epic Tales of Captain Underpants in Space is an American animated mini-series based on the show The Epic Tales of Captain Underpants that premiered on Netflix in 2020.
The show follows the adventures of George, Harold, and Captain Underpants as they embark on a journey to space after their school, Jerome Horowitz Elementary, is chosen to participate in a contest held by the space agency P.O.O.P.S.I.E. The school is transformed into a "school-ship" and is launched into space with the students and Captain Underpants on board. However, upon arriving in space, they quickly realize that their mission is not what they were expecting.
