The Happets is a Spanish computer-animated children's television series based on the books by Laurence Jammes and Marc Clamens. The show is directed by Alex Colls Peyra and co-produced by Anera Films, Mas Llauner, and Lupita Books. It completed production and was released in 2009,[2] with the earliest date known being its release in 2010 on Super3 in Spain in the Catalan language, despite its original language being English.
The Happets revolves around the slice of life adventures of five rag doll animal friends called the Happets; Rita the giraffe, Milo the bear, Talalo, Olga the pig, Mumu the cow, and Alfred the tucan. Together they play games together and learn new things.
In 2010, The Happets spawned a theatrical film that was loosely based on the series, titled La tropa de trapo en el país donde siempre brilla el sol. A second film, co-produced by a Brazilian company, was released in 2014, titled La tropa de trapo en la selva del arcoíris.[2] The original language of the films is European Spanish, despite the fact that a dub of this show does not exist.
Release[]
Since 2019, episodes of the show in HD are frequently released on the show's official YouTube channel. Strangely, the theme song and credits are cut from these uploads. Previously, three English episodes (that were TV rips from Super3) had been uploaded by the same channel in 2010.
