Trivia[]
- This is the first Disney movie to be released in cinemas using voice talents from both the Netherlands and Belgium. This was previously used only for Disney Channel series, such as Elena of Avalor or Tangled: The Series.
- Belgium: Ariel, Ursula/Vanessa, King Triton, Flounder, Scuttle, Perla and Caspia
- Netherlands: Eric, Sebastian, Queen Selina, Sir Grimsby and Lashana
- While the trailer is fully dubbed on Disney+, all other publicly released official trailers in both the Netherlands and Dutch-speaking Belgium are only in English with Dutch subtitles.
- Unlike the original animated film, the film's original English title is retained for the remake, instead of the Dutch title De kleine zeemeermin.
