The Mighty Heroes is an American animated series created by Ralph Bakshi and made by Terrytoons, which originally aired on ABC from October 29, 1966 to March 11, 1967. It originally aired as part of the final season of the compilation series Mighty Mouse Playhouse.
This series features a team of five misfit heroes - Strong Man (a mechanic named after his super strength), Cuckoo Man (a bird shop owner named after his birdlike powers), Tornado Man (a weather forecaster named after his tornado powers), Rope Man (a sailor named after his rope powers) and Diaper Man (a baby named after his appearance). Despite their unlikely powers, they are protectors of the city of Good Haven, despite always failing to defeat a villain in Act 1, but work together with proper coordination in the next act to finally defeat the episode's villain once and for all.
