The Morning Report is a song from the 1994 2D animated film The Lion King written for its Broadway musical adaptation and later added with an accompanying animated sequence for its 2002 IMAX limited theatrical release. Sung by Zazu (singing voiced by Jeff Bennett), Mufasa (James Earl Jones), and young Simba (singing voiced by Evan Saucedo), it is an extension of the scene where Zazu delivers a morning report to Mufasa, but only gets pounced on by Simba who later starts singing it while he's scaring Zazu afterwards. This can be found on the film's 2003 Platinum Edition DVD release alongside the original theatrical cut although the song is absent in the theatrical version of the 2011 3D release but later appeared as a standalone bonus feature on the Blu-ray release.
