The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! theme song (known primarily in the United States as "The Mario Rap") is used in every episode of the aforementioned show. It is loosely based on the main theme used in the original 1985 Super Mario Bros. video game for the Nintendo Entertainment System, originally composed by Koji Kondo.
Like with many other animated series, there are various other arrangements of the theme song depending on the region.
The Mario Rap[]

During the show's original run, it was used from September 4 to November 30, 1989.

Trivia[]
- The "Mario Rap" would later be re-used and re-arranged for The Super Mario Bros. Movie, under the title "Mario Brothers Rap". The original English version of the movie is the only one that retains the lyrics from the show, whereas other versions, like the French version, would be rewritten and re-arranged to be closer to the original English lyrics.
