The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is an upcoming 2026 American 3D computer-animated comedy adventure theatrical film based on Nintendo's Super Mario franchise of video games, created by Shigeru Miyamoto. The direct sequel to The Super Mario Bros. Movie (2023), it is produced by Nintendo in collaboration with Universal Pictures and Illumination, and co-produced by Miyamoto and Illumination co-founder Chris Meledandri. It was first announced on March 10, 2024 (on MAR10 Day), and its title was later revealed in a teaser trailer during a Nintendo Direct presentation on September 12, 2025. The film will mainly be inspired by Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2 and has been described by Miyamoto as the "main event" of the Super Mario Bros. 40th Anniversary celebration. The film sees the return of directors Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic and writer Matthew Fogel from the previous film.

On November 12, 2025, the first full trailer for the movie was released in its own dedicated Nintendo Direct presentation.

The movie will be released by Univeral Pictures in the United States on April 3, 2026.
