The Warrior is a song by the American rock band Scandal featuring Patty Smyth, from their debut and sole studio album, Warrior (1984). Written by Holly Knight and Nick Gilder, the song was released on June 1984, as the first single from The Warrior.
This song would later be used throughout the 2024 miniseries Knuckles, mostly as the main theme of the show used at the beginning (except episode 1, which was used at the end). In episode 1, it was first used during Knuckles' warrior session and Wade's training. It would return in the post-credits of episode 6 where Knuckles found his favourite song, in which it is the song.
Being a licensed song, the vast majority of dubs of the film left the song in English unchanged, however, the Persian dub, produced by AlphaMedia Studio, dubs the song either way (albeit only in episode 1).
English[]
- Singers: Scandal (Patty Smyth)
Oh, who's the hunter, who's the game I feel the beat call your name I hold you close in victory I don't want to tame your animal style You won't be caged In the call of the wild Shooting at the walls of heartache bang, bang I am the warrior Well, I am the warrior And heart to heart you'll win If you survive, the warrior, the warrior Shooting at the walls of heartache bang, bang I am the warrior Well, I am the warrior And heart to heart you'll win If you survive, the warrior, the warrior

- Because this is a pre-existing licensed song, all other dubs of the series retain the English version.
