Thomas Rau is a former German voice actor who is probably best known for voicing Chief Wiggum in The Simpsons over many years. Despite him being born in Berlin, he lives in Munich where he was active most of his time.
Career[]
In younger years he was an active actor until he switched completely to voice acting. In 1993 he took over the role as Chief Wiggum in The Simpsons until he handed him over to Patrick Zwingmann in 2021 when he retired.
