Tobi! is an American animated television series, created by Jim Chong, Jennifer Oxley, and Josh Selig. It was produced by Selig’s studio Little Airplane Productions, in association with Treehouse TV and Nickelodeon (Australia). All 4 episodes of the series premiered in Canada and Australia on March 7, 2010 - UNICEF’s annual Children’s Day of Broadcasting, and the series was later sold internationally by French distributor awol animation.
The series focuses on Tobi, a young boy who wants to make his world a better place to live in. Described as a set of “visual poems”, the series touches on topics such as pollution, homelessness, and endangered species.
