Tom Sawyer is a Canadian-French animated children's television series, produced by PVP Media and Cyber Group Studios, in collaboration with Rai Ragazzi and other foreign studios. Although it is based on Mark Twain's 1876 novel, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, it dissociates itself from the latter with re-invented adventures, modifying the personalities of some existing characters while adding new ones.
The original English version (recorded in Canada) initially aired in Finland, on the channel Yle Teema & Fem, with a trailer surfacing prior on Cyber Group's website. As of January 2023, it airs in the United States on Primo TV.
