Tomokazu Sugita (杉田 智和 Sugita Tomokazu) is a seiyū born on October 11, 1980 in Saitama, Japan.
He is famous for playing youthful leads in hit anime series, such as Gintoki Sakata in Gintama, Kyon in The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Hideki Motosuwa in Chobits, Yuichi Aizawa in Kanon (2006 version), Joseph Joestar in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, and Rin Tsuchimi in Shuffle! among many others. He also played Aldebaran of Taurus in The Warriors of the Zodiac: The Lost Canvas, Escanor in The Seven Deadly Sins, and Chamber in Suisei no Gargantia.
He was awarded "Best Supporting Actor" at the 3rd Seiyū Awards for his roles in the anime Macross Frontier, Kamen Rider Kiva, and Hakushaku to Yousei.
He is affiliated with the Atomic Monkey agency.
