Totally Spies! is a French-American animated revival series of the original series of the same name. The series follows Sam, Alex and Clover as they move to a new city and take on new villains that come their way.[10]
The series is produced by Zodiak Kids, Ollenom, Monello Productions and Family Studio France with Discovery Kids Latin America and Gulli serving as co-producers for the project. The series debuted on Max in Caribbean territories on September 16, 2024.[11]. Originally announced in 2022,[12] it was set to be released in 2023, but was delayed to next year.
On June 13, 2024, the series was renewed for a second season.[13][14]
Cast[]
None of the voice actors involved with the original series reprise their roles, as revealed in September 2023 by Clover and Sam's respective original voice actresses, Andrea Baker and Jennifer Hale.[15] The reason why it changed was due to Banijay not wanting to pay union rates for the original cast.
In the first episode of the revival, Mandy's flashback to the season 3 episode "Evil Coffee Shop Much?" from the original series had two different prints: an earlier version of the episode on Max in Latin America where the lines were not redubbed with the new voice actors, with Jennifer Hale and Katie Griffin's lines as Mandy and Alex being entirely retained; and another one made later for Cartoon Network EMEA, where the voice lines were redubbed by Sarah Naughton and Lori Felipe-Barkin respectively.
