True and the Rainbow Kingdom is a Canadian animated series, produced for Netflix by Guru Studio and Home Plate Entertainment, in collaboration with American artist duo FriendsWithYou, and Pharrell Williams' I Am Other. It is based on the artwork by FriendsWithYou.

Broadcast

The 10-episode first season of True and the Rainbow Kingdom premiered on Netflix on July 11, 2017. Season 2, composing of two five-episode spin-off series, True: Magical Friends and True: Wonderful Wishes, debuted on June 15, 2018. A 4-episode third season of the series, called Mushroom Town, was released on Netflix on March 3, 2015, with its second half, titled Wild Wild Yetis, was released on August 30, 2019. True Tunes was released on July 12, 2019 on Netflix. It consists of 8 new songs. On April 4, 2020 the series debuted on Tiny Pop in the UK, it also ran on Discovery Family in the US from August 2, 2020 to July 30, 2021.

In the Middle East, the series airs on the Kurdish TV network Shakrok TV in English.[3]
