Volodymyr Oleksandrovych Zelenskyy (Ukrainian: Володимир Олександрович Зеленський, born on January 25 1978) is a Ukrainian statesman; former actor, voice actor and comedian[1]. He is currently serving as the president of Ukraine.
Biography[]
Zelenskyy grew up in Kryvyi Rih, a Russian-speaking region in the southeast of the former Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic. He obtained a degree in law from the Kyiv National Economic University, then pursued comedy and created the production company Kvartal 95, which produces films, cartoons, and TV shows including Servant of the People (Ukrainian: Слуга народу), in which Zelenskyy played the role of president of Ukraine. He would later actually run for presidency and win the 2019 elections in his country.
