Trivia[]
- Siegfried Schürenberg had already dubbed Clark Gable in the 1930s. Those responsible at MGM liked his voice so much that they specifically demanded that Schürenberg be cast for this production as well.
- With the exception of Hattie McDaniel (Mammy), all African-American actors had their voices dubbed in extremely poor German.
