Winspector is the French dub of 特警ウインスペクター. It premiered on TF1 as part of the Club Dorothée block on May 6, 1991, just nearly four months after the last episode aired in its' home country.
For some strange reason, only 42 out of 49 episodes of the series were dubbed in French, as the series was pretty popular in the region, and it even had a toyline merchandise released by Bandai there.

- The French theme song is sung by Bernard Minet and replaces the Japanese theme. [2]
- With 42 out of 49 episodes dubbed, the missing seven episodes that were not dubbed were 27, 29, 30, 40, 41, 48 and 49.
