WordGirl is an American educational animated television series that aired on PBS Kids from September 3, 2007, to August 7, 2015. Created by Dorothea Gillim and directed by Steve Young, the show was produced by the Soup2Nuts animation studio.
The series follows the adventures of a young superheroine named WordGirl, who possesses superhuman strength, flight, and an impressive vocabulary. In each episode, she battles a range of villains, including scheming robots, evil clones, and giant ants, all while teaching young viewers about language, grammar, and word usage.
